    Hi Thane,
Yes, we are working on establishing connections to the local Indigenous community. This idea has been included in the vision from the start. We have the largest urban Native population in the nation, and as a city, we have a lot to learn about respecting land, water and culture through various traditions of people. If you know anyone from these communities please connect us. Renaming the lake would need to come out of this process of engagement with those communities. Thanks for your input! – Ryan Seibold
